Peer Mentoring

Peer Mentors

ARCHES Peer Mentoring has proven successful in helping students successfully transition to Cal Poly Pomona.  Our Peer Mentors are current CPP undergraduates who are passionate about your success.  They are trained to work with ARCHES students on specific areas of concern such as:  organizational strategies, decision making skills, general study skills, time/life management

Peer Mentors (PM) hold one on one regularly scheduled offices hours and are able to meet with students on a weekly or bi weekly basis.  Click on our PM's calendar or email them to schedule today.

Welcome Back! This is my 2nd year as a Peer Mentor.   I transferred from Mount San Antonio College.   As a first generation student, my goal is to obtain a P.h.D. in my respective field.   I hope my success will be an example to pave the way for future generations in my family.  I love travelling, road trips, and good food.  After graduation, I hope to move and eventually retire in the beautiful state of Colorado.

I am excited to be a peer mentor this semester. I am a transfer student from Mt. San Antonio College and a 4th year Liberal Studies major.  I am passionate about helping students succeed.   I plan to earn my Master’s in Special Education and teach.  After finishing graduate school, my goals are to create a life in Huntington Beach.   My favorite things to do are:  hike, go to the beach, watch movies/tv shows, photography, and eat amazing food.
