Interview with Dahlia Pasaran

Hi! My name is Dahlia, and I'm a senior at Cal Poly Pomona studying Technology and Operations Management.

Currently applying to different companies for a supervisor position.

As of right now, I have applied to a leadership development program from Geodis. And it is a 2-year rotational program out in Pennsylvania.

My career interests are in transportation. I want to learn more about different strategies from different companies of how they assess a problem for a customer to their consumers. I currently am aiming for shipping, air, and trucking companies.

I was an Operations Intern at Geodis. Geodis is a 3PL logistics company. It was an overall great company to learn from. Management and the team helped me learn the most that I can during the internship. In the end, I was offered a lead position for Finished Goods.

Advice

When the time is right, everything will fall into place. I take this phrase where ever I go or the situation I am in, and this keeps me going when I feel very discouraged.
