Christine Heinrichs

Christine Heinrichs

Christine Heinrichs, a student of the first Educational Leadership Doctoral Cohort, was honored by Baldwin Park Unified School District as Certificated Administrator of the Year. Heinrichs' honor was announced by Michael Garcia, who said this about Heinrichs:

"Those of you who know Christine Heinrichs, know of her work ethic, her dedication to students, her desire to make everything perfect, and her sense of humor.

Christine has worked in the Baldwin Park School District for the past 18 years. During her time here, she has been an upper grade teacher, Resource Teacher, Vice Principal, and is currently principal at Walnut Elementary. She is a perfect example of a life-long learner. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Azusa Pacific University and is currently working on her Doctorate at Cal Poly Pomona. She has earned the respect of her colleagues and holds a special friendship with all her fellow elementary principals.

Christine has that passion for students that all educators can relate to but she holds a very special passion for the Dual Language Program at her school."

We would like to congratulate Christine on her honor!

Student Drawing of Cal Poly Pomona

One of our doctoral students, Christine Heinrichs, sent us this drawing from a 3rd grader at her school. Christine is principal of Walnut Elementary School in Baldwin Park Unified School District. How exciting to see a college going culture begin in the primary grades! Thank you to 3rd grader Isabella Robles, her teacher, and Principal.
