The College of Professional and Global Education (CPGE) at Cal Poly Pomona invites the campus community, alumni, and partners to participate in Broncos Give, the university’s annual 36-hour day of giving, taking place March 18–19.
This year, CPGE is raising support for CPGE Scholarships, which provide critical financial assistance to adult learners, working professionals, and career changers pursuing their educational goals.
“Many of our students are balancing education alongside careers, families, and financial responsibilities,”
said Larisa Preiser-Houy, interim dean of CPGE.
“Scholarship support helps reduce barriers and accelerates their ability to complete their programs and advance in their careers.”
CPGE serves a distinct and growing population of learners who are returning to higher education with clear professional goals. These students often pursue graduate degrees, certificates, and workforce-focused programs designed to meet evolving industry demands. Financial support plays a key role in ensuring that these opportunities remain accessible.
During Broncos Give, every contribution supports this mission. Participation also helps unlock matching funds and campus-wide challenges that can increase the overall impact of each gift.
Supporters can contribute by visiting the CPGE giving page and selecting “CPGE Scholarships” under Causes to Support.
In addition to financial contributions, members of the CPGE community are encouraged to participate by sharing the campaign within their networks. Increased visibility and participation strengthen the college’s ability to compete for additional funding opportunities throughout the campaign.
Broncos Give is a university-wide effort that brings together the Cal Poly Pomona community in support of student success. For CPGE, the campaign reflects a continued commitment to expanding access, supporting career advancement, and strengthening workforce pathways across the region.
