Plus, many of our programs offer evening classes, enabling you to work while studying in the evenings.

Master's

Aerospace Engineering

This program enables graduates to articulate the significant challenges confronting the field of aerospace engineering, utilizing a solid foundation of advanced courses. Through a careful selection of challenging projects, graduate students propose creative approaches to solving selected contemporary engineering problems. These project experiences distinguish this aerospace graduate program by providing graduates with the design and execution background to tackle complex problems using innovative approaches, which may be applied in industry and research.

Civil Engineering

This program is for students who currently are, or intend to become, practicing civil engineers. Our program aims to strengthen knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices and to apply the knowledge and skills to real-world problems encountered by professional civil engineers. Five options are available—construction engineering and management, environmental and water resources engineering, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, and transportation engineering.

Electrical Engineering

The electrical engineering graduate program is intended mainly for practicing engineers. It can be used by those students interested in performing applied research or those willing to broaden their knowledge before pursuing higher studies. The emphasis of the program is on advanced studies with applied training and includes laboratory instruction.

Engineering Management

This is a unique program developed to meet the industry's need for highly qualified and well-trained engineering managers. The program gives engineers advanced multidisciplinary training in manufacturing, production and operations management, business, and finance. It culminates with the option of performing thesis research on individual topics or joining research teams sponsored by one of the programs’ industry partners.

Materials Engineering

This program prepares students to move on to more advanced work in the materials science and engineering profession and/or contribute at higher levels in their current engineering positions. With a strong emphasis on applied research, students will pursue the thesis option that requires a year or more of study in a specific topic decided in consultation with faculty and defended through a proposal review. Ultimately, the program prepares students to immediately contribute to their employer’s technical and programmatic needs.

Mechanical Engineering

Gain knowledge in advanced and rapidly developing fields such as computer aided design using finite element methods, computational thermal and fluid sciences, energy management, and robotic engineering. This program allows students to acquire specialized knowledge and research skills for the advanced work in their chosen area of emphasis. The program culminates in either completing an engineering project or a thesis that demonstrates their capability to perform independent research work
