URP Awards

The APA’s Outstanding Student Awards recognize outstanding achievement in the study of planning by students graduating from Planning Accreditation Board (PAB)-accredited planning programs (one at the undergraduate level and one at the graduate level) during the academic year of the award. The award is presented to students who have shown strong academic performance, leadership, commitment to planning as a career, and community service.

URP merit awards are reserved for students with special qualifications in academic performance and engagement in the department’s activities and events. The department recognizes students who showed not only strong academic performance in classrooms but also participation in a variety of activities outside of classrooms.
