The National Research Platform

The National Research Platform (NRP) is a community-owned research and education platform helping educators with researchers to accelerate innovation and collaborate to share resources. Supported by over 50 institutions, including leadership from UC San Diego, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and the Massachusetts Green High Performance Computing Center, the platform provides access to emerging AI technologies, high-performance computing, data storage, and networking.

NRP is available to all nonprofit higher education institutions, from community colleges to top research universities, view the National Research Platform's website for more information.

The Corporation for Education Network Initiatives in California Artificial Intelligence Resource

The Corporation for Education Network Initiatives in California Artificial Intelligence Resource (CENIC AIR), and its initiative is to support artificial intelligence (AI) research and education across California. The infrastructure, and the communities that use it are an implementation of the National Research Platform (NRP),  CENIC AIR enables faculty and students to contribute and collaborate nationwide over the same infrastructure. For California to continue its leadership in AI, faculty and students need access to training, research, and class lab facilities in a persistent, sustained infrastructure that continues to evolve. The CENIC AIR Platform is where researchers and educators can access cloud resources including Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, and the National Science Foundation's High Performance Computing centers.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) offers a broad suite of services for High-Performance Computing (HPC), enabling faculty, researchers, and students to run complex simulations, modeling, and data analysis.
