Campus Phone Maintenance

Summary: The Division of Information Technology (IT) will test CPP’s phone system recovery functionality on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m.

What does this mean for you?

  • External phone calls to campus will be unavailable, including calls to University Police from personal or off-campus phones.
  • Jabber phone calls will be unavailable.
  • University Police will continue to receive calls made to 911.
  • Phone calls between on-campus phones and Code Blue Emergency Phones will not be affected and remain operational.

BroncoDirect and PeopleSoft Maintenance This Sunday

Summary: The CSU Chancellor’s Office will perform planned maintenance on CPP’s Bronco Direct/PeopleSoft environment on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from midnight to 6 a.m.

What does this mean for you? All student administration, human resources functions, and finance functions will be unavailable during the maintenance window, including the following:

  • Bronco Direct/Student Center
  • Class Enrollment
  • Payments
  • Degree Progress Reports
  • Class Search
  • HR Self Service Options
    • Time & Labor
    • Absence Management
  • Student Employment Module
  • Part-Time Faculty Module
  • HR Reports
  • Common Financial System
  • General Ledger
  • Accounts Receivable

During this planned service interruption, users will continue to be able to access MyCPP, Canvas, email, and other IT services. Areas in MyCPP that display information from Bronco Direct/PeopleSoft will be unavailable. The Division of Information Technology tries to minimize the time systems are unavailable outside of standard maintenance windows. PeopleSoft system maintenance is an exception because systemwide maintenance is scheduled by the Chancellor’s Office for all CSU campuses.

Planned Maintenance Times

  • Thursdays, 9:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., midnight.
  • Sundays, 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

During these times, online services may be briefly unavailable without advance notice.

Duo Mobile Minimum Requirements

Summary: On February 2, 2026, Duo Mobile began enforcing new minimum operating system requirements for iOS, iPadOS, and Android. As a result, you may receive notifications prompting you to update the OS or Duo Mobile on your mobile device.

What Does This Mean for You?

To avoid interruption when signing in with Duo Mobile, make sure your smartphone or tablet is running the latest available version of the Duo Mobile app before February 2, 2026. This change affects all services that use Duo Mobile for multifactor authentication (MFA), not just CPP.

Check Your Duo Mobile Version

Open Duo Mobile → Tap menu ☰ → Security Checkup.

New Minimum Requirements

  • Android 11 or later
  • iOS 16 or later
  • iPadOS 16 or later

If Your Current Device Does Not Meet These Requirements

Some older devices may not be able to update to meet these operating system requirements. In these cases, you can continue to use the Duo Mobile app for a one-time passcode.
