Technology News and Service Notices for March 11

Service Notices

Crisis Preparedness and Response Notification App

Summary: Rave AppArmor has replaced Alertus for all emergency desktop alert notifications.

What does this Mean for me? During an emergency or preparedness drill, AppArmor displays a full-screen notification, on all IT-managed desktops and laptops, including context about the situation.

Once you have reviewed the message, click "Acknowledge and Close" to dismiss it.

If the computer is locked, you will still see and hear an alert, but you will need to unlock the device to acknowledge and dismiss the notification.
