Google’s Gemini and Gemini Notebook Are Now Available for use at CPP
Gemini Notebook and Gemini will be available to Cal Poly Pomona students, faculty, and staff to assist with coursework, research, and projects beginning September 8.
Gemini Notebook is an AI-powered research and study assistant that helps faculty, staff, and students organize and understand information you have collected. Upload documents, PDFs, presentations, websites, videos, and other source materials, then ask questions, summarize, create study guides, and explore connections in your content, all grounded, in the information you provide; supported with citations to your original sources. Whether you are preparing course materials, conducting research, studying for exams, or managing a project.
Gemini for Education is a secure AI assistant, like ChatGPT Edu, which helps faculty, staff, and students work and learn effectively. Gemini helps you from a secure educational environment.
How to Access Gemini & Gemini Notebook
To get started, visit https://gemini.google.com/app and log-in using your CPP email address, then review and accept the terms and conditions.
