The key to Student Success in an online physics class

Dear physics student,

So…you’re taking a physics course remotely now. Well, whether it’s in person or online, physics often seems like it’s harder than it should be.  It takes work.

You should know, however that it has been mastered by millions of people. And you too can master it now. It is not witchcraft. It is made for you to master, and master it you should. It is – after all - the stuff of any endeavor that is technical or that tries to quantify the rules of nature, and that’s why you are taking it.

Sometimes it will appear that you just don’t know what you can do to be successful in an online physics class.  Well, to help you, I’ve consulted with one of our best instructors to define nine things that you should do when taking one of our classes.   IF you do these things, you probably won’t get a bad grade in your physics class.

We look forward to your presence in our hallways when campus returns to widespread in-house instruction in the Spring 2022.  I know how hard it is to navigate this online semester. The expectations are high, but I am sure that you can meet them.

Wishing you great success!    ¡Adelante estudiante!
