A New Normal

Hannah Petrovick, Spanish major shares how she's doing during social distancing

Hannah is a Spanish major. She is a student worker with the College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences. Hannah shares how the transition to online/virtual learning has been amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. And, she translated it into Spanish as well.
A New Normal

The transition to online has been difficult to say the very least. I have purposely always avoided online classes because of the initiative it takes to be successful. However, it is a new experience, and I am learning a ton about myself both inside and outside of the classroom. I’ve learned that taking study breaks has been essential, switching up my scenery while studying is so important, and writing things down in my planner helps a ton. Although I won’t be perfect everyday, I am thankful that we are all learning together and challenging ourselves in this uncharted territory. I commend anyone that has been able to make this transition without any issues and I thank my professors for being patient during this time.
