Global Climate Strike

The Global Climate Strike will take place in downtown Los Angeles on September 20, 2019. Take part in the fight for meaningful action on climate change alongside CPP faculty, staff, and students. The strike will start at 11:30 AM at Pershing Square in Los Angeles. Attendees are encouraged to take eco-friendly modes of transportation to the event. For students interested in going as a group from Cal Poly Pomona, Dr. Vallejo will be accompanying students on transit from the bus stop on the north west corner of Temple Ave. and S. Campus between 9:00 AM - 9:15 AM.

Those interested in attending the strike can also take part in the CPP Climate Strike Pre-Party on September 19, 2019, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM in building 5, room 114. Bring hats, shirts or posters you would like to decorate! Registration is free, visit Eventbrite to sign-up.
