Conferences and Research Scholar Programs
Field-Focused Conferences
Why Attend Academic Conferences?
Attending regional or national academic conferences helps undergraduate students explore new research topics, learn from experts in the field, and gain exposure to academic and professional pathways beyond the classroom.
Student Conferences & Research Experiences
Why Participate?
Presenting at Cal Poly Pomona or CSU-wide conferences allows students to share their research, gain presentation experience, and build confidence in a professional academic setting. Student conferences and research programs strengthen graduate school and job applications, provide valuable networking opportunities, and offer an excellent introduction to conference-style presentations.
