London-Scotland NGO Study Abroad
London-Scotland
Students will spend 3 days in London and 7 days in Edinburgh, Scotland. In
London, students will have site visits to impactful London-based International
NGOs. The pre-requisite course for this trip for undergraduate students is PLS 3175
"NGOs & Social Service Outreach" and the pre-requisite course for MPA students
is MPA 5605 "Criminal Justice Politics & Administration." Each of these courses
is offered during the Fall 2023 Semester. Undergraduate students will spend one
week teaching the highlights of the PLS 3175 course and the MPA students will
teach an "Introduction to Soft Skills" course at the HMP Addiewell Prison.
Participating students will enroll in CLS 4990 and earn 3 units of credit during
the Spring Semester 2024.
