Campus Phone Maintenance

Summary: The Division of Information Technology (IT) will test CPP’s phone system recovery functionality on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 10 p.m. to midnight, outside our normal maintenance window.

What does this mean for you?

  • External phone calls to campus will be unavailable, including calls to University Police from personal or off-campus phones.
  • Jabber phone calls will be unavailable.
  • University Police will continue to receive calls made to 911.
  • Phone calls between on-campus phones and Code Blue Emergency Phones will not be affected and remain operational.

Planned Maintenance Times

  • Thursdays, 9:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., midnight.
  • Sundays, 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

During these times, online services may be briefly unavailable without advance notice.
