Check your CPP email for an invitation to participate. If you are eligible, enroll ASAP but no later than April 22. We have limited funding for this grant.

About This Grant

If you joined CPP in Fall 2022 or Fall 2023 as a first-time freshman and need to complete at least one lower-division General Education course, you may be eligible for a Summer Boost grant. This grant covers the cost of tuition up to 7 units and mandatory fees.

Grant Criteria

To be eligible for this grant, you must:

  • Have joined CPP as a first-time freshman in Fall 2022 or Fall 2023
  • Enroll in up to 7 units of lower-division General Education courses in GE Areas A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, B3, B4, C1, C2, D1, D2, E or F
  • Have received a State University Grant, Cal Grant or Middle Class Scholarship in 2023-24
  • Be a California resident or have an approved AB540 Nonresident Tuition Exemption approved with Cal Poly Pomona
  • Be meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress standards for financial aid

If you decide to also enroll in major course(s), you will be responsible for paying major tuition and major auxiliary fees. If a course meets both your GE and major requirements, we will fund it.

If you are unsure of which of these GE areas you still need to fulfill, refer to your Degree Progress Report in your BroncoDirect Student Center and your curriculum sheet.
