MSIS Admission Requirements
Admission to this program is based on a holistic view of the following criteria:

GPA
Minimum GPA at 2.5 if prior degree in Information Systems or a related field; otherwise, minimum GPA at 3.0

4-year Bachelor's Degree. Upload your transcripts to Cal State Apply website and also have your Official Transcripts sent in one of the following three ways:
1) If the official transcripts are in PDF format, your sending institution sends them to verify@cpp.edu. 2) If your sending institution does not offer electronic transcripts, we recommend that students use the following services: National Student Clearinghouse, Credential Solutions. 3) Should these services not be available for your sending intuition, please mail the official paper transcripts to: California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, Admissions & Enrollment Planning, 3801 West Temple Avenue Pomona, CA 91768

GMAT/GRE Scores
GMAT or GRE is not required

English Proficiency Test only for applicants with prior degrees not conducted in English
TOEFL (if required) 213 Computer Based, 550 Paper Based, 80 Internet Based, or IELTS 6.5, or Graduate Minimum Duolingo Score: 105 (MA English requires 120) Cal Poly Pomona English Language Institute (CPELI) offers English learning programs. CPELI level 6 is acceptable for satisfying CPP English proficiency requirement of SGSB graduate program admission purpose.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge in the areas of Networking, Programming, and Database is essential to study the MSIS program. If you didn’t take classes in those areas, you should complete the following online courses (or similar ones) and provide proofs when applying for the MSIS program.

Follow Up
General Admissions Requirements for International Students
For international applicants, the same general admissions requirements as stated above apply. However, international applicants are also required to provide the following information in addition to the CSU application:
1) Affidavit of Financial Support
2) Agreement to Purchase Cal Poly Pomona Group Health Insurance
3) Supplementary Information of International (VISA) applicants
