Dear Prospective Students,
Congratulations on taking the next step in your academic journey! My name is Dr. Brianne Dávila and I’m the Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Student Success in the College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences, or CLASS as we call it. Here at CLASS, we don't just teach—we empower you to make a meaningful impact in your community. Our supportive, engaged, and diverse community of teachers, learners, and scholars is committed to improving the human condition and to bettering the world. After exploring more about who we are and what we do, I'm confident you'll discover many reasons to join us!
CLASS offers courses addressing today’s most pressing and talked-about issues such as:

Our CLASS majors participate in course-based internships that promote civic engagement, such as the Communication Studies, Social Work, Music Industry Studies programs to name a few. Our students don't just prepare for careers—you will begin your professional journeys while still on campus. You'll have the opportunity to get involved in co-curricular activities, including leadership opportunities among the 17 student clubs offered in CLASS, and participate in faculty-led and independent research projects and creative activities.

Our CLASS faculty are celebrated for their advising, teaching, and mentoring, scholarly work, creative activities, and service to their disciplines, departments, and communities. As a CLASS major, you will be assigned both a faculty and staff advisor to guide you during your time at CPP. Our CLASS Student Success Center and its dedicated team of student success advisors provides general academic advising, assists with registration, petitions, reviews degree progress, and refers students to resources both on and off campus.
