Welcome Home Broncos!

Move-in is almost here! Please review the important information below to help you prepare for a smooth move-in experience. We’re excited to welcome you home and look forward to seeing you soon!

Move-in schedule: 

  • August 16, Sunday, 8am - 5pm
  • August 17, Mon, 9am - 4pm
  • August 18, Tuesday, 9am - 3pm
  • August 19, Wednesday, 1pm - 3pm 

When you arrive for your scheduled move-in day, please go to the correct check-in location.

 

Move-In Information


Move-in day is almost here, and we’re excited to welcome you to campus. Here’s what you need to know before you arrive.

As you prepare for move-in, check out our list of essential and optional items, including what to bring and what not to bring, and additional recommendations for those moving into the Residential Suites.

During move-in week (August 16–19), Lots Q, F1, and F2 are reserved for 30-minute active unloading only.

If you need extended or overnight parking:

  • Suites and Residential Halls: Lot P, Lot B, or Parking Structure 2
  • Traditional Halls: Lot F3, Lot F4, or Parking Structure 1

When you arrive for your scheduled move-in day, please go to the correct check-in location.

Sicomoro Hall or Secoya
August 16 - 19: Check in at the Sicomoro Multipurpose Room, Building 73.

Encinitas, Montecito, Alamitos, or Aliso
August 16: Check in at Lot F2.
August 17 - 19: Check in at the Traditional Hall Housing Office, Building 71.

Estrellas, Bonita, Sol, Montanas, or Luna
August 16: Check in at the Suites MPR, near Vista Market.
August 17 - 19: Check in at the Sicomoro Multipurpose Room, Building 73.

After-hours check-in
If you arrive between 6 PM and 10 PM, call the RA on duty for your building. The phone number is posted on your building’s front door and available online by clicking here.

Room access varies by housing community:

  • Residential Halls: Use your Bronco ID card for building, room, and bathroom access.
  • Traditional Halls: Receive a hard key for building and room access.

Residential Suites: Receive a hard key for your room and an access card for building and suite entry.

 

You are responsible for all issued keys and access cards. Lost or unreturned items will result in replacement charges:

  • $120 for a lock change and new hard keys
  • $30 per replacement access card
