The 2020-2021 financial aid applications are now live! 

Submit or renew your financial aid application between October 1 and March 2 for the following academic year. Be sure to file before the priority filing deadline (March 2nd) in order to be considered for the maximum types of aid. Applications submitted after March 2nd will not be eligible for CA State or Cal Poly Pomona Institutional Grants.

  • You (the student) are a U.S. Citizen; Permanent Resident; or eligible non-citizen
  • You (the student) do not meet criteria to file a FAFSA
  • You (the student) meet the conditions of California AB540 status

Your financial aid application is used to determine your eligibility for all types of aid, and some scholarship providers may use your application information to determine whether you qualify for their awards. You must reapply for financial aid each year.

Get on the Road to Financial Wellness with iGrad!

Winter Term & Financial Aid

The Winter Term is a self-supporting session administered by the College of Extended University.  There is no financial aid available for the Winter Term

Spring financial aid cannot be used to defer Winter Term Fees; Units earned in the Winter Term cannot be combined with spring units to meet minimum unit requirements for spring term.

It's Not Too Late to Apply for Financial Aid for 2019 - 2020

A financial aid application has to be on file for you to be awarded loans, scholarships and grants. Completing the application is free, quick, and easy!  Although priority for certain types of aid is given to those students who applied prior to the March 2 deadline, financial aid is still an option through the end of the academic year.

Enrollment can impact your Aid!

If you enroll less than full-time for a semester, your financial aid may be affected!  To see how your enrollment impacts your financial aid, review the information under Enrollment Requirements.

SF Financial Hold – Spring 2020

Your account will be placed on a SF Financial hold if your payment has not been received by the payment deadline, financial aid has not been applied, or other University related charges remain unpaid. This hold will prevent you from registering for classes for any future term(s) until the amount owed has been paid.
