Reserve Lending Policies & Overdue Fines

 

Reserve material loans are restricted to currently enrolled Cal Poly Pomona students, faculty, and staff with valid ID (Bronco Access Card), also I-Poly High School students, Open University students, and various special program enrollees. Check with Circulation Desk for Borrowing Privileges.

Borrower's record must be clear of all overdue materials and/or fees of $5.00 or more

All material checked out from Reserve must be returned to Reserve

Maximum of three Course Reserve items per ID card. Limit on projects is five per ID card

Reserve materials are not holdable or renewable.

No Renewals. Waiting period of one hour before rechecking out hourly materials and one day for daily or weekly materials.

FEES begin to accrue immediately after due date and time. All borrowers, including faculty and staff, are responsible for overdue items and are subject to Library overdue fees

Borrower is responsible for missing or damaged materials. Billing fees and/or replacement fees will be assessed accordingly.

Replacement fees for lost materials are: CURRENT replacement fee of the item (refundable if the item is subsequently returned) and overdue fees (maximum charge of $100.00).

 Loan Periods & Fines

HOURLY 2 hours, with No overnight privileges 2 hours after checkout or by closing time $.50 per hour
2 hours, with overnight privileges 2 hours after checkout or if checked out 2 hours before closing, due back 1 hour after opening the next morning $.50 per hour
3 hours, with No overnight privileges 3 hours after checkout or by closing time $.50 per hour
24 hours 24 hours after checkout, includes weekends $.50 per hour
DAILY 7 days 7 days later, includes weekends $1.00 per day
14 days 14 days later, includes weekends $1.00 per day
28 days 28 days later, includes weekends $1.00 per day
SEMESTER Whole Semester Check out for the entire semester $1.00 per day
PROJECTS 28 days 28 days later, includes weekends $.15 per day
