As Director of CPP’s McNair Scholars Program, he has demonstrated unwavering dedication to supporting first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented students as they prepare for doctoral study. Even prior to his directorship, he was widely recognized in the Psychology Department as a trusted and highly effective advisor, consistently sought out by students for his insight, encouragement, and practical guidance. Beyond his formal roles, Dr. Morales goes above and beyond in cultivating meaningful mentoring relationships with students and colleagues alike. He is known for his tireless work ethic, positive yet constructive approach, and ability to connect students with opportunities that align with their individual goals and strengths. His genuine passion for mentorship, combined with his remarkable record of student success and community building, makes him an exceptional leader and advocate. Dr. Morales’ profound and lasting impact on our university community makes him more than deserving of recognition as an Outstanding Advisor.
