Updates to CLASS Advising and Student Success Center

Dear CLASS Majors,

The CLASS Student Success Center will be closed Monday, March 23, 2020 through Friday, April 3, 2020. We will update you by Friday, April 3rd if we will open or remain closed.

Our staff will be working remotely, so please continue to send us emails and schedule online/phone appointments.

If you have questions that can be answered via email, petitions that need to be signed, or want us to review your planned fall courses, please email your questions, petitions, or tentative fall schedule to: class-advising@cpp.edu. Try to be as detailed as possible in the email. We will respond within 72 business hours.

If you currently have an appointment scheduled with one of our advisors, the advisor will email you regarding your preferred method of meeting. If you don't want to keep your scheduled meeting, you can cancel it via CPP Connect: in your CPP Connect homepage, click on the Upcoming Appointments link on the righthandside. Click on Cancel Appointment.

We are still scheduling appointments through CPP Connect. When scheduling your appointment, please let us know your preferred method of meeting from the options below:

  • Phone appointment - Zoom link will be sent with phone number and meeting ID
  • Online advising appointment - Zoom link will be sent

If you're having troubleshooting issues with Zoom, please email the advisor you have an appointment with. You can also visit the Zoom support website

If you are 10+ minutes late for your appointment, you may need to reschedule. We have back-to-back appointments and want to make sure everyone is getting the appropriate time for their appointment, especially under these circumstances.

To better assist you during your appointment, please review your Curriculum Sheet, Degree Progress Report, in your Student Center, and have your questions ready.

Below are some links to other resources that you may find helpful in answering some general questions and concerns during this time:

Thank you all so much for your patience during this time. Hoping everyone is staying safe and healthy.

All the best,

CLASS Student Success Team
