About the Exhibition

The purpose behind the exhibit "DPI," which stands for digitally propelled ideas is to provide a venue and bring together artists who have been actively involved in using computer technology to create works of art. The DPI exhibit has two components. The first component is juried with an Open Call for Entries. The second is Invitational, based on the recommendations of Professor Elliot Earls. The two-part displayed simultaneously for an exciting juxtaposition of technical and conceptual development. This exhibit, conceived and sponsored by the Art Department at Cal Poly Pomona, has been hosted by the Kellogg Gallery since 1994.

Juried by Master Printer Jack Duganne.
