Emerging Scholars Program

The Emerging Scholars Program (ESP) is an initiative for early career students, that targets freshmen, sophomores, and first-year transfer students. The program's goal is to immerse students in research during a one semester period, through a blend of workshops, advising sessions, and community engagement activities students will build the essential skills needed to navigate the research processes. This program will help students find a supportive, like-minded cohort all while paving the way for future paid research opportunities.

Participants will attend three workshops, two peer mentor meetings, and one advising meeting. Upon completion of the program, students will receive an ESP digital badge to showcase their commitment to research on professional platforms. The application form is available here.
