Domestic Travel for University Business

Travel involves certain risks and it is important to identify the potential risks, determine how to reduce or avoid the risks, and how to respond in the event of an emergency as you plan for your university travel.  The resources below provide information from Finance and Administrative Services on Travel, including the CSU Travel Procedures, as well as information from Risk Management on Driving on University Business and how to report accidents.

The following information is provided as a quick reference.  For additional, detailed information, please see the CSU Travel Procedures prior to traveling on official University business.  Individuals traveling on official University business must familiarize themselves with and adhere to the CSU Travel Policy and Procedures.

Assembly Bill No. 1887 is a California law that prohibits state-funded and state-sponsored travel to states on the list.  The restrictions apply to all CSU employees, officers, or members, as well as non-employee travelers, including students.  Travel Ban States Information Posted on Finance & Administrative Services Travel webpage.
