Co-Op Internship Program
MWD is a consortium of 26 cities and water districts that provides drinking water to nearly 19 million people in Southern California. Metropolitan's mission is to provide its service area with adequate and reliable supplies of high-quality water to meet current and future needs in an environmentally and economically responsible way. Our Engineering staff plans, designs, and manages construction of new facilities, and modifies existing facilities to ensure delivery of high-quality water to approximately 19 million people in Southern California.
Year-Round (YR) Co-op Internship Positions:
YR Co-op Internship - $20/hour
Students will participate in the Group Year-Round Cooperative Education Program through MWD LA Verne, Cal Poly Pomona Foundation, Inc., and Cal Poly Pomona’s Center for Community Engagement. The program is designed to enhance students’ academic curriculum along with work experience.
Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Engineering year-round Co-Op job opportunities for sophomore and junior students are currently offered by the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, La Verne.
