The Full-time students enrolled at Cal Poly Pomona have access to fully articulated online courses at other semester CSU campuses through CSU Fully Online website. The Courses designated as CourseMatch has undergone an extensive review process through the CSU Office of the Chancellor. These courses have been deemed eligible based on the curriculum and student success rates. In addition, these courses carry a small number of guaranteed seats for visiting students. This registration access is offered without students formally admitted to the CSU host campus and without paying additional fees. Students interested in participating should consult with their academic advisor to determine how such a course may apply to their degree program before enrolling at another CSU campus. Credit earned at the CSU campus offering the online course is automatically reported to your home campus and included on your transcript.

Enrollment Process, Eligibility Requirements, FAQ, Welcome Letter
The CourseMatch enrollment process is fully automated, allowing Cal Poly Pomona students to register for CSU Fully Online courses offered across the CSU system.
How to Enroll
Students may enroll in CSU Fully Online courses through their home campus student self-service portal.
- Cal Poly Pomona students:
Log in to BroncoDirect → Student Center → click “Enroll in CourseMatch.” - A comprehensive list of CSU Fully Online courses is available on the CSU Fully Online website.
After You Enroll
Once you select a course and your home campus approves the request:
- A course placeholder will appear on your class schedule:
- CM2990 for Undergraduate students
- CM4990 for Graduate students
- The placeholder confirms that your enrollment request has been approved at CPP and is going through approval process at the host campus.
Host Campus Review
The host campus (the CSU campus offering the course) will then review your enrollment request through its process.
Once approved:
- You’ll receive a welcome email from the host campus with instructions on how to set up your student account and access your course materials.
Advising Reminder
Before enrolling, please consult with your academic advisor to ensure that the selected course meets your General Education (GE), major, or graduation requirements at your home campus.
To participate, students must meet the following requirements:
- Have completed at least one semester at Cal Poly Pomona as a matriculated student and earned at least 12 semester units.
- Be in good academic standing with a minimum CPP GPA of 2.0 for undergraduate students or 3.0 for graduate students.
- Be enrolled at CPP during the requested term and have paid full-time tuition and fees.
- Enrollment is limited to another semester-based CSU campus
- Enrollment is subject to space availability, registration priorities, and deadlines established by the host campus.
- Students may be required to provide documentation showing completion of applicable course prerequisites.
- Academic advising and financial aid remain through Cal Poly Pomona.
- CourseMatch/CSU Fully Online availability is determined by the participating host campus; students should confirm course availability and requirements with the host campus.
Enrollment Status and Financial Aid Eligibility:
Courses taken through CSU CourseMatch/Fully Online may be included when determining your overall enrollment status and financial aid eligibility at Cal Poly Pomona. General Education Courses
The labeling of General Education areas in CSU Fully Online follows the semester-based GE structure. Before enrolling in a GE course, refer to the CPP General Education Guide to determine how the course applies to your GE requirements: CPP General Education Guide.
