Hundreds of family and friends helped students in the Huntley College of Agriculture’s Class of 2024 celebrate Commencement.
The annual Commencement ceremony took place on Friday evening, May 17, on the University Quad.
Professor Bonny Burns-Whitmore of the Department of Nutrition & Food Science was this year’s mace bearer, leading the procession of students onto the University Quad.
Pia Spors, an agribusiness and food industry management, student was honored as the Julian A. McPhee Outstanding Student Scholar Award recipient as the class valedictorian.
As the McPhee scholar, she was given the honor of addressing the graduating class.
California State Treasurer Fiona Ma was the special guest speaker for the Huntley College commencement ceremony.
The event was livestreamed and recorded for those who couldn't attend or would like to re-watch the festivities.
