GIVE US YOUR BEST SHOT!

Here's a chance to share your favorite study abroad experiences through the annual Study Abroad Photo Contest! We're looking for the most interesting and awe-inspiring photos that showcase your experience abroad.

Winning entries will be selected based on the best quality photographs that convey a strong sense of place or express a cross-cultural experience.

2025 Categories:

Bronco Abroad: Photos that show Billy Bronco or CPP students with Bronco gear traveling the world.

Best Landscape or Cityscape: Photos that show the best landscape or cityscape of the study abroad destination.

Best Selfie Abroad: Photos that capture a standout self-portrait of students immersed in their study abroad experience.

Smiles Abroad: Photos that show students having fun participating in program-related activities.

Culture and Connection: Photos that show students engaging with the local culture.

Overall: Photos the celebrate the diverse and transformative experiences of study abroad.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

The contest is open to all CPP students currently enrolled in a study abroad program or recently completed one. A maximum of five (5) entries per student may be submitted. Photos must have been taken by the entrant during the entrant's study abroad program. Photos that include drug use or other illegal activities will not be accepted. Defamatory, slanderous, obscene, threatening, hateful, or otherwise offensive photos are also prohibited. Photos must be high resolution (at least 300 dpi) in JPEG or PNG and be titled to correspond with your entry.

By entering the contest, you will be giving the Office of Study Abroad permission to use your photo(s) in various marketing activities, publications, and/or on the Web for the purpose of promoting Study Abroad at Cal Poly Pomona. This means all photos, not just winning entries, will be eligible for inclusion in such activities.
