The COS Advising Center hosted a college wide event that occurred on April 27, 2021. Members of our College of Science Dean’s Circle discussed Careers in STEM, student success, imposter syndrome, diversity, inclusion, and equity, and shared useful advice to help prepare students to land the job of their dreams. DeVoneia L. Jordan is an accomplished Lead Career Coach in the College of Science at Cal Poly Pomona. With a passion for helping students excel in their careers, DeVoneia is committed to assisting you in all aspects of your professional journey.

Drop-in Hours Information

The Career Center Drop-In hours are held Monday through Thursday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. This is a time when students can visit the Career Center and speak with any counselors to discuss any career-related questions, job search strategies, resume reviews, interview preparation, and more. To participate in drop-in advising, login to CPP Connect.

On Wednesdays DeVoneia will be hosting a virtual session from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. during the Fall Semester. This virtual session will be accessible to students through a Zoom, allowing for remote participation from anywhere.
