Intercollegiate Equestrian Team
About This Club
The Cal Poly Pomona Horse Show Team is a member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA). The team competes in intercollegiate horse shows hosted by various colleges in California, Nevada, and Arizona. Student-owned horses compete in West Coast Intercollegiate Horse Show Association riding events such as Western-Pleasure, English-Pleasure, Equitation, Jumping, and Trail Classes. The Cal Poly Pomona team also competes in IHSA events where they show horses owned by the host colleges.

We would be thrilled to have you be a part of our team and possibly compete in our show circuit during our show season. To join, you must add the AVS Equestrian Team course (AVS 2980 section 2) when registering for your classes. This class is highly sought after and fills up quickly, so make sure to add it as soon as you can. |

Our team originally started on campus in 1983 and competed in many circuits. Since then, our team has kept going through Covid and beyond. |
| Club Goals: | To compete in both Hunt Seat and Western, winning our way up to Nationals in all levels. |

The CPP Equestrian Team is devoted to offering Cal Poly Pomona students opportunities to develop their horsemanship skills, regardless of riding experience and limited finances. |
