Step 1

Go to assist.org

Step 2

On the home page, enter the CCC name, Select “CSU GE Breadth Certification Classess” and Click on “ View Transferability List”

Filter or scroll down and select department of GE class you want to take

The Cert Areas column will tell you which GE the class would cover. Once you find a class you can take you must then cross reference the class on the list with the community college schedule for offereings. In the example below, the Art classes shown fulfill GE Area C1.

Step 5

Once you register for and take the GE class at the community college, you would request the transcript to be sent to CPP. CPP receives it and applies it to the appropriate category/course. And that’s it!

Go to Assist.org

Step 2

Plug in the CCC you would attend and then plug in CPP. For the purpose of this example, Mt. SAC will be used.

Search for and select your major, click on view agreement.

Step 4

A new window will open to display the articulation agreement CPP has with that CCC for any classes within your major. Classes in the left column are CPP courses, right column is the community college equivalent.

Step 5

Your next step would be to check the summer schedule at the community college for availaibiltiy. You register with them, take the class and once the class is complete, you request the transcript from the community college to be sent to CPP. And that it!
