Part-Time/Temporary Lecturer Appointments

The College of Engineering at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) invites applications from qualified professionals to join our part-time lecturer pool for both undergraduate and graduate courses for the following departments: Aerospace Engineering, Chemical and Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.

In addition, we are seeking applications for the part-time lecturer pool for the First Year Experience course in Engineering (EGR 100/L Engineering, Society, and You).

The College of Engineering serves approximately 6,000 undergraduate and graduate students.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Masters degree; in exceptional cases bachelors degree plus extensive professional experience may be considered.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with diverse student and community populations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in appropriate discipline
  • Industry and/or teaching experience
