Returning Undergraduate Student FAQs
There are key differences between Returning Students and Returning Transfers, please carefully see differences below:
- A returning student is someone who left CPP and has not attempted units at another college/university and would like to return under the same major they were initially admitted under.
- A returning transfer is someone who left CPP and has attempted units at another college/university, and/or intends to return to a different major from what they were originally admitted under.
- Returning transfers must meet transfer requirements to be considered for readmission
If you are returning from an official CPP approved Leave of Absence (LOA), please contact the Bronco Advising Center (BAC) for next steps. If your LOA has passed the approved timeframe then you will need to submit a Returning Student Interest Form.
Cal Poly Pomona (CPP) is a proud military friendly campus that is grateful to serve and support its returning Veterans and military service members. As a former student, review the information from our Veterans Resource Center to determine if you can return to CPP based on military service.
